Camping, Hiking, and of course Fishing!

We took one last adventure before school started.

The first hike was called 'windy pass.' It's behind 'Y' mountain in Provo.

The second day we hiked to Timpanogos Caves in American Fork Canyon. This was a surprisingly difficult hike, even though it was paved. This was also the location for an earlier post about a rattle snake encounter.

This was one serious hike, as you can tell by Kristen's awesome outfit. Outside for the hike, it was about 95 degrees, and in the cave it was a chilly 48.

We stayed overnight in American Fork Canyon. Maggie slept with us in the tent, except for one hour when she was determined to be awake.

It was cold the next morning.

Maggie enjoyed playing in the tent.

Look at that breakfast!

Warming up by the fire...well not really, even that close, you couldn't feel any heat, but that's ok, the sun came up and we warmed up fast.

Yup, Maggie fished too.
