I know it's hard to tell by her expression in this pic, but she loved the carousel ride with Aunt Jan - she went twice.
First frozen banana on Balboa Island. At first Aunt Jan held the stick for her to take a bite, but she wasn't having that. 
End result: All this mess and somehow nothing ended up on her clothes. Can you tell she liked the chocolate more than the banana?
Just had to include this pic, Ryan will love me for it. :) But this is the reason we drove down there. He presented at a research conference among mostly MD,PhD holders. Needless to say, it was intimidating, but he did great and gained experience. Glad it wasn't me.
