Maggie got to go watch her dad's first soccer game. We won 3-0, and the other team was not too happy about it...in fact, the ref ended the game early because of their whining. It was pretty entertaining. To start off, the girlfriend on the sideline kept screaming at her team, but it wasn't really motivating. She was saying "come on, what are you looking at, go get the ball! Stop being so slow! Stop giving the ball away!" Me and the other wives couldn't stop laughing at her "coaching" style. She was told off by her boyfriend on the field, so she took off running. Meanwhile, the other team continued to lose and yet, insisted on playing dirty. The ref (who also had enough of a power trip himself) gave out several yellow/red cards during the game. Eventually, the other team started whining about how all of the calls were on them, they complained and yelled at the ref. He said he would call the game if they continued, and 20 sec. later, the game ended. It was really pretty sad to watch college guys act worse than high school kids. Our team went to shake their hands afterwards, and the other team was nearly ready to start a fight, refusing to shake our players hands and even kicked some of guys when they tried to shake their hands. Ridiculous! So even though Ryan loves to play soccer any chance he gets, he wishes that the games could be more fun and more civil. We'll see what happens next time.

Dangit. I wish I could be on that team.
Is this intramural soccer?! That's crazy. I'm with you...it is pretty pathetic when college guys act more stupid than high school kids. Better luck next time. At least you won! :)
Soccer players are whiners...for the most part. I hate that two. I got a red card in an indoor game a couple months ago because someone else lost their cool. It happened to be the first game Krista and Kate were able to come to.
I meant "too" not "two"
